Legato Living Nutrition: Seasonal Balanced Meals & Snacks
Legato Living has developed four seasonal menus that consist of three nutritionally balanced meals including a morning, afternoon, and evening hydration and snack program.
Each menu has been crafted to use foods that are available in that particular season to ensure quality and freshness.
Snacks
Because of our home environment, our kitchen is always open. Our Residents are able to have a glass of milk or juice or eat a piece of fruit or other snack at any time. Have your loved one’s food preferences changed over the years? No problem! The small environment is perfect as we easily add their favorites to our grocery list to always have on hand!
Meal Preparation
Food preparation and storage are always done with the utmost care to assure the Resident’s health and safety. Preparation for each meal consists of appropriate portions for each Resident.
Modified diets are also available for those residents having swallowing difficulties. In this instance, meals may be pureed and liquids can be thickened if specified by the physician.
