Our memory care program is staffed by caring professionals with expertise in compassionate support for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. In our residential homes, we offer a family-style environment where residents are treated with respect, understanding, and compassion.
Legato Living, established in 2002 and located in Omaha, Nebraska, is known as Omaha’s premier provider of memory care services.
We currently have multiple licensed residential homes, serving individuals living with dementia, with more coming soon!

High-Quality, Enriching Care
Our compassionate staff members are trained in dementia and Alzheimer’s care and are available 24/7 to provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. We also offer a variety of stimulating activities and events to help keep our residents engaged and enriched.
These activities are designed to use skills that our residents already have and focus on their current abilities and strengths. They may include folding laundry, singing old hymns, baking, doing crafts, and feeding the birds and squirrels. We also offer activities that stimulate cognitive functioning, such as reality orientation, music, word games, and reminiscing through the use of memory kits, scrapbooks, and stories.
Welcoming Environments
Our homes are designed specifically for those living with dementia. We have secure outdoor spaces for walking and enjoying the fresh air, and our common areas are welcoming, bright and comfortable. We also have a variety of room and care options available.
With our smaller setting, Legato Living creates a truly unique and relaxing environment for your loved one. We will go out of our way to make our Residents feel like family. They are safe and secure, with each home having a keypad security system and cameras in the main living areas. Security continues outside, as each home has a secured outdoor area to enjoy with your loved one.
The Kitchen is Always Open!
Legato Living offers nutritionally balanced meals including a morning, afternoon, and evening hydration and snack program. The menus are designed to use foods that are in season to ensure quality and freshness. Prepared snacks are available for residents between meals, but the kitchen is always open for residents to have a glass of milk, juice, or a snack at any time.
Specialized diets, including pureed meals and thickened liquids, are also available for residents with swallowing difficulties per physician orders. Meals are prepared with appropriate portions for each resident.
