Legato Living has always focused on improving/or maintaining the quality of life for its Residents.
We work to meet the physical, emotional, and medical needs of our Residents living with memory impairment. In our endeavors to provide quality care to our Residents, our staff will monitor the following: sleep habits, nutritional intake, vital signs and symptoms involving mood changes.
Some of the common types of dementia include: Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and dementia with Lewy bodies. At Legato Living we strive to ensure that our Residents stay healthy and happy. The best way to achieve this is through our team approach. Our care team includes our highly trained and compassionate staff of dementia specific caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants, Medication Aides, a Registered Nurse, and your physicians. We personally attend to your loved ones physical and emotional needs.
To ensure that our Residents get the best medical care and communication to their physicians and caregivers, we have a licensed nurse as our Director of Clinical Services. The Director of Clinical Services at Legato Living monitors all health related issues and consults with family members, Powers of Attorney (POA), and their physicians.
As the disease progresses it often becomes more difficult for residents to go out to see their physician. We have a partnerships with geriatric Physicians and Nurse Practicioners that will come to the home to see your loved one. This has proven to be beneficial in providing the best possible care for your loved one as they are able to be seen in an environment they are comfortable in and the physician can consult directly with those that care for them each day.
