Symidahl Okereke brings a lifelong passion for elder care and community service to her role as owner of Legato Living Indian Hills. A proud Omaha native, Symidahl is a graduate of Burke High School and holds degrees in both music and accounting and finance from Iowa Western Community College and University of Nebraska at Omaha, respectively. Her journey into caregiving began early, shaped by time spent in a church community rich with seniors and deepened through her volunteer work with United Way at Rose Blumkin Jewish Home and Douglas County Health Center.

For nearly 16 years, Symidahl has cared for her grandmother at home, an experience that has fueled her commitment to providing dignified, compassionate care for seniors living with memory-related conditions. As a caregiver, she can empathize with families and assure them of her foundational beliefs that seniors deserve the very best experience and services in their new home away from home.
