Legato Living at Heartland Hills Memory Care Home is a picturesque setting on four and a half acres with beautiful views and a variety of wildlife but easy to locate right on 36th Street, South of Capehart.
A large wrap-around deck was created specifically for enjoying the view and peace and quiet of the area. An old barn from generations past still stands on the property in its original condition and will surely bring up childhood memories for some. With all ten residents living on the same level, they will have a chance to engage with one another and enjoy activities as a group.
For those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, the size of the care environment does matter. Large group settings can be over stimulating and often overwhelming for those living with the confusion of dementia. Residents at Legato Living can maintain the lifestyle they were accustomed to while sharing all the amenities and comforts of a single family residential home. Our Residents receive individualized care in large ranch style homes
Meet the Owners
Greg Zuger
Alicia Zuger
Greg and Alicia currently live in Omaha, Nebraska with their son (10yr), Nicholas, two crazy dogs, Rizzo and Rocky, and cat, Wrigley. They are the owners of Legato Living at Heartland Hills Memory Care and are also planning to open two additional locations in Papillion and Gretna over the next 5 years.
Greg graduated from Creighton Prep and worked in the construction world for nearly 20 years before bravely deciding to take on the stay at home dad role for a handful of years plus a couple extra due to COVID. Alicia graduated from Bellevue University with a BS in Business and worked in the Child Welfare arena as co-owner and Executive Director of Apex Foster Care for nearly 20 years. Alicia is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Nebraska and loves investing in real estate so those are projects Greg and Alicia tackle as a team. They enjoy working together and in their free time, they love spending time together as a family, where you will probably find them watching Cubs baseball, Bears football, or Husker Football, of course!
Greg and Alicia both had close relationships with their grandparents and they enjoyed helping them with many various tasks and outings as they aged and were unable to fully care for themselves without assistance. They both understand the need for compassion, continuity, and having the right team of people to provide outstanding care for those who are no longer able to do so themselves and want families to know their loved ones will be treated like their own. The decision to place a family member in the care of someone else will never be taken lightly and they want to ensure prospective families that Legato Living at Heartland Hills will be a safe and life enriching place for them to call home for the duration.
